Rules for Nonexhibiting Manufacturers

NGWA’s non-exhibiting manufacturers registration policy was established to protect contracted exhibitors and their show investment, as well as preserve the integrity of the attendees attending Groundwater Week. Non-Exhibiting Manufacturer attendance is for the sole purpose of viewing Groundwater Week for consideration of exhibiting in the future

To ensure fairness, here’s a reminder of the policy and its purpose:

Why Do We Charge a Non-Exhibiting Manufacturer Fee?

  1. Protect Exhibitor Value: Exhibiting manufacturers invest significantly in showcasing their products. Charging a higher fee for non-exhibiting manufacturers helps preserve the value of this investment.
  2. Encourage Exhibitor Participation: The policy incentivizes manufacturers to participate as exhibitors, fostering greater engagement and event growth.
  3. Support Event Revenue: Groundwater Week relies on exhibitor and attendee fees to fund operations and enhance the overall experience.
  4. Ensure Fairness: Non-exhibiting manufacturers benefit from networking opportunities at Groundwater Week and need to contribute equitably to the cost of the event.
  5. Maintain Event Integrity: Clearly defined roles for exhibitors and attendees foster a balanced and professional environment.

Non-Exhibiting Manufacturer Fees:

  • First attendee: $1400 (early) / $1500 (late or onsite)
  • Additional attendees: $400 (early) / $500 (late or onsite)

Guidelines for Non-Exhibiting Companies:

To maintain a fair and professional environment, the following rules apply:

  1. No Solicitation: Non-exhibiting manufacturers may not approach buyers or exhibitors for solicitation purposes.
  2. No Promotional Materials: Non-exhibiting manufacturers may not bring merchandise, samples, catalogs, or other promotional items in the exhibit hall. Bags and briefcases are subject to inspection.
  3. No Events or Presentations: Non-exhibiting companies may not host showrooms, hospitality suites, receptions, or presentations during setup or show dates anywhere in the show’s host city
  4. Enforcement: Companies violating these rules will be asked to leave without a refund and may be prohibited from attending or exhibiting in future events.
  5. Registration Credentials: Employees of non-compliant companies will not receive registration credentials.
  6. Reporting Violations: Exhibiting companies are encouraged to report any violations to show management.
