Special statement on COVID-19 and Groundwater Week from NGWA CEO

I am writing to update you on the progress of Groundwater Week 2020. As exhibitors, you are an essential partner in the success of our show, and we look forward to working with you to ensure this year is a valuable experience to all involved.

As of now, Groundwater Week 2020 is moving forward as planned for an in-person trade show in Las Vegas, December 8-10.

We are encouraged by recent actions by the federal government, State of Nevada, and City of Las Vegas on their plans to reopen the economy in the coming months. We remain optimistic that our country and economy will be in better places come December. But if the COVID-19 outbreak does not continue to improve, there is an unfortunate chance Las Vegas will again shut down or impose social gathering restrictions.

Therefore, we are making plans to deliver this event virtually or a hybrid of both (in-person and virtually).

At NGWA, we believe we are “Better Together and Stronger Together” — and with this motto in mind — we will remain committed to working with you to make Groundwater Week 2020 a success for everyone involved in supporting our Association and in return helping us support the industry.

We will keep you informed as we learn more from the Las Vegas Convention Center.

We thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you in December!
